Prayer
Yahweh (God),
help us trust You in situations we don’t understand. When things feel broken or out of place, remind us that You are still working with purpose.
Holy Spirit, give us clarity when we are confused and faith when we cannot yet see what You are doing.
In Yeshua’s name, Amen.
Introduction
Some situations don’t just feel difficult—
they feel wrong.
Not inconvenient.
Not uncomfortable.
But completely out of place.
And the question comes quickly:
“Why would this even happen?”
Because when something looks wrong,
we assume something has gone wrong.
But what if that’s not always true?
What if some things aren’t mistakes…
but setups?
Scripture Exploration (NRSV)
John 9:1–3 (key line)
“so that God’s works might be revealed”
Yeshua encounters a man blind from birth. The disciples assume it must be punishment for sin. Yeshua corrects them—this condition isn’t about blame, but about purpose.
John 9:13–17 (summary)
Religious leaders question the miracle. Instead of celebrating, they debate it and struggle to accept what they can’t explain.
John 9:24–25 (key line)
“I was blind, now I see”
The man doesn’t argue theology—he simply testifies to what changed.
John 9:39 (key line)
“those who do not see may see…”
Yeshua reveals a deeper truth: some who think they see are actually blind, and some who were blind are being given true sight.
Deep Dive
In this account, the focus isn’t just on healing.
It’s on perspective.
The disciples see a problem and ask:
“Who caused this?”
Yeshua sees the same situation and reveals:
“This has purpose.”
That’s the shift.
What looked like:
-
limitation
-
disadvantage
-
something out of place
was actually positioned for something greater.
The man’s condition wasn’t random.
It became the moment where:
-
truth was revealed
-
power was demonstrated
-
and people were confronted with what they believed
And what’s striking is this:
Even after the miracle,
many people still couldn’t see it clearly.
Why?
Because:
when something doesn’t fit our expectations, we question it—even if it’s from Yahweh.
Key Terms
Purpose - The intended outcome Yahweh is working toward, even when it isn’t visible yet.
Misinterpretation - Seeing a situation incorrectly because of assumptions or limited perspective.
Spiritual Sight - The ability to understand what Yahweh is doing beyond what is physically visible.
Testimony - A personal account of what Yahweh has done—often more powerful than argument.
Positioning - Being placed in a situation that prepares or reveals a greater outcome.
Relatable Scenario
You’re dealing with something that doesn’t make sense.
It’s not what you planned.
Not what you wanted.
And if you’re honest,
you’ve questioned why it even happened.
But instead of clarity, you’re left with:
-
waiting
-
confusion
-
unanswered questions
And somewhere in that process, you start thinking:
“This shouldn’t be like this.”
Core Message
-
Not everything that looks wrong is out of place.
-
Some situations are positioned for a greater purpose.
-
What you don’t understand now may reveal something later.
Life Stories
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t what you’re going through.
It’s not knowing what it means.
You replay it:
-
trying to figure it out
-
trying to make sense of it
-
trying to connect it to something logical
But there are moments where logic doesn’t help.
And in those moments, you’re left with a choice:
Do you assume something is wrong…
or trust that something is still unfolding?
.
Common Experiences
-
Feeling like your situation doesn’t make sense
-
Questioning why something happened
-
Comparing your situation to others
-
Wanting clarity that doesn’t come right away
-
Struggling to see purpose in difficulty
Everyday Challenges
-
Trusting Yahweh without full understanding
-
Not rushing to negative conclusions
-
Remaining steady in uncertainty
-
Avoiding comparison with others
-
Staying open to what is still unfolding
Modern Connections
Today, everything is expected to make sense quickly.
If something doesn’t:
-
it’s labeled a mistake
-
it’s seen as failure
-
it’s questioned immediately
But not everything is meant to be understood instantly.
Some things are:
revealed over time—not explained upfront
.
Reflection & Application
Ask yourself honestly:
-
Am I assuming something is wrong just because I don’t understand it?
-
Have I rushed to conclusions instead of waiting for clarity?
-
Where in my life might Yahweh be working beyond what I can see?
-
Am I open to purpose… even when it doesn’t feel clear?
This week:
Pause before labeling your situation.
Staying Anchored in Truth (Biblical Response)
Trusting purpose doesn’t mean having all the answers.
It means remaining open to what Yahweh is doing.
This looks like:
-
Trusting His direction (Proverbs 3:5–6)
-
Waiting without forcing understanding (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
-
Recognizing growth in process (Romans 8:28, summarized)
Sometimes staying aligned means:
-
not rushing to fix what you don’t understand
-
not labeling something prematurely
-
allowing time to reveal what you cannot yet see
Closing Prayer
Yahweh (God),
help us trust You in what we don’t understand. Give us patience where we want answers and faith where we lack clarity.
Holy Spirit, help us remain steady and open to what You are doing—even when it looks different than we expected.
In Yeshua’s name, Amen.

Key Takeaway:
Not everything that looks wrong is out of place.
Some things are set up for a greater purpose.
Concluding Thoughts:
What you’re looking at right now
may not make sense.
It may not feel right.
It may not match your expectations.
But that doesn’t mean it’s without purpose.
So before you decide:
“This is wrong…”
consider this:
“What if this is being used right?”

We all walk through the alleys of the unknown. Encountering things and situations that wasn't planned or even wanted. You prayed for one thing and God's answer is completely different. You say to self "this is not what I prayed for" cause logic it don't connect. Doing these times we must remember that God's time and purpose is different from ours. Remaining steadfast can be challenging because we are viewing things from our focus point. These are times we have to get in that quite place and hear and listen to His voice. It may take some time but He will reveal to you the things He would have you to know and take you to that prefect place He prepared for greater purpose. Sometimes we are tossed, the storm rages the wind keep blowing but "Stay Anchored"
