Prayer
Abba Yahweh (Father God),
You were before all things and hold all things together.
Forgive us for mistaking Your gifts for You. Draw us back to the center where Your presence is enough.
By Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), unplug us from false sources—applause, achievement, even ministry itself—and re-root us in You alone.
Through Yeshua (Jesus), the Living Vine, let the sap of Your Spirit flow through every dry place until we remember who sustains us.
Amen.
Introduction
Every generation searches for what can sustain it. We look to careers, relationships, and even good works for meaning.
Yet Yahweh reminds us that true life doesn’t begin with what we build—it begins with who He is.
When He said, “I AM,” He wasn’t just identifying Himself; He was declaring, “Everything you need already exists in Me.”
Scripture Exploration
Exodus 3 : 14 (NRSV)
“God said to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM.’ … ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”
John 15 : 5 (NRSV)
“I am the vine, you are the branches… apart from Me you can do nothing.”
Acts 17 : 28 (NRSV)
“For in Him we live and move and have our being.”
Deep Dive
When Yahweh revealed Himself as I AM, He gave Moses more than a name—He gave revelation.
Before there was need, there was Him. Before light existed, Light was.
Every miracle in Scripture flows from that eternal presence.
The same voice that spoke to Moses now whispers to hearts today: “You were never meant to exist apart from Me.”
Relatable Scenario
Think of a phone left off its charger—it flashes life briefly, then fades.
Many believers live on yesterday’s charge, mistaking activity for connection.
Yahweh isn’t asking you to do more; He’s inviting you to stay plugged in to His presence.
Core Message
Yahweh is not an accessory to life—He is life.
He’s not a step in the plan; He is the plan.
Everything created finds rhythm only when tuned to His heartbeat.
Life Stories
-
The Builder: When contracts collapsed, he realized income wasn’t his inheritance—intimacy was.
-
The Mother: When anxiety over bills stole her sleep, she whispered, “You are my Source,” and peace paid what money could not.
Common Experiences
Most of us know what it’s like to feel spiritually dry while still doing all the “right” things.
We pray, serve, and give, yet somewhere along the way the connection feels thin—like we’re pouring from an empty well.
Sometimes Yahweh allows the familiar streams to slow so we’ll return to the fountain. It’s not punishment; it’s invitation.
He reminds us that blessings were never meant to replace the Blesser. The job, the calling, the answered prayer—all are channels, not the Source.
When we shift our gaze from what’s in our hands back to Who holds us, peace returns and the flow begins again.
Everyday Challenges
We chase streams and forget the spring. Even ministry can become a stream when it replaces intimacy.
Slow down enough this week to trace every blessing back to its beginning—then worship there.
Ask yourself: Have I stayed connected to the Source, or am I running on the residue of yesterday’s charge?
Modern Connections
In a culture that praises hustle, Yahweh’s I AM interrupts the noise.
It reminds us that success isn’t self-made; it’s Source-sustained.
True productivity begins where dependence on Him replaces dependence on self.
Reflection and Application
-
Return to Silence: Sit before Yahweh without requests—just awareness.
-
Source Audit: List where your confidence lies (career, relationships, talent). Pray over each: “Yahweh, You are my Source here.”
-
Speak His Name: Throughout your day whisper “I AM is with me.” Notice how peace follows presence.
Closing Prayer
I AM, our Beginning and Breath,
You hold together the atoms of creation and the details of our day.
Detach us from counterfeit power and reattach us to Your presence.
Let every inhale testify that You alone sustain.
In the name of Yeshua (Jesus), Amen.
Further Study:
-
Psalm 36 : 9 — “For with You is the fountain of life.”
-
John 6 : 35 — “I am the bread of life.”
-
James 1 : 17 — “Every good gift … comes down from the Father of lights.”
-
Revelation 1 : 8 — “I am the Alpha and the Omega.”
Key Takeaway:
He is not a resource we draw from; He is the Source we dwell in.
Concluding Thoughts:
This message calls us back to the center of all life. The same I AM who spoke to Moses now speaks within the believer’s heart: Abide in Me and live.
When we remain in Him, everything else finds its rightful place.

As believers, God is our First Responder, we can't accomplish nothing without Him. God is the source of everything that was or ever be, nothing have or will exist without Him. The presence of God in your life is far beyond anything you could ever imagine or hope for (The Fountain). When the believers life aligns with Him we reflect back and know without a shadow of doubt that God is and always will be the "I AM" in your life. (Yes He sustains us and eventually everything finds its rightful place)
